We all have rights.
Every child. Everywhere.
RIGHTS-RESPECTING SCHOOL
At the start of term, children across our school took part in a special day exploring their rights as set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), an international agreement adopted by 196 countries.
The children explored some of their fundamental rights and discovered what it means for these rights to be universal, inalienable, indivisible, inherent and unconditional. Through discussion and creative activities, they developed their understanding of why every child’s rights matter.
We’re delighted to share the fantastic display they created to celebrate their rights and remind us all that every child matters, every child has rights, and every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. ![]()
