Forest School 10th November 2025

Despite the rainy weather at Forest School today, we had a fantastic time! The children made the most of the wet conditions by transforming our mud area into a busy construction site, using a variety of construction vehicles in their play. We also created beautiful poppies using wool, felt, and sticks — the results were stunning, and the children learned how to tie a clove hitch knot as part of the activity. Zanthe and Georgia worked hard to build an impressive bug hotel, and we had plenty of enthusiastic helpers cutting shrubs and contributing to the day’s projects.

This week at Forest School, our students had a highly engaging and productive afternoon. They actively developed and managed the Forest School area by re-digging and clearing the designated digging space, organizing and enhancing the den-building zone, and constructing a see-saw using pallets. In addition to these projects, the children enjoyed climbing trees, building dens, and crafting an impressive table made from sticks. It was a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning and teamwork in a natural environment.
