ZAMBEZI VISIT FARM & COUNTRY FAIR

Zambezi Class had a fantastic day at the Suffolk School Farm and Country Fair.

We began by watching an exciting gundog display before heading into the wildlife and conservation zone, where we enjoyed getting hands-on with a range of activities. These included working out “Who’s poo?”, dissecting owl pellets, and learning more about animals such as swifts and hedgehogs.

Next, we were thoroughly entertained by The Sheep Show. The children learned lots of interesting facts about different breeds of sheep found in the UK, watched a sheep being sheared, and even enjoyed some impressive sheep dance moves.

We then explored the emergency services and safety zone, where the children learned how the law can protect wildlife. They loved sitting in the back of a police van and having their fingerprints taken to be made into a keyring. The Air Ambulance team also taught the children how CPR can save lives.

After a well-earned lunch break, we moved on to meet some wonderful animals, including Bloodhounds, alpacas, Guernsey and Jersey calves, and a very cute Highland cow.

We had a brilliant day, and Zambezi Class would like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely people who made this experience possible. No photo description available.May be an image of crowd and textMay be an image of textMay be an image of text
